On April 24, MSLU Rector Irina Kraeva, Vice-Rector for Science Olga Iriskhanova and Head of the International Cooperation and Internationalization Department Irina Shokina hosted a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Universities of the Republic of Cuba.
At the meeting, the main issues for discussion were the possibility of expanding cooperation between our university and the universities of the Republic of Cuba in educational and scientific areas and the implementation of the master's program "Information Security" as well as the issues of the upcoming conference "UCIENCIA", which will be held from September 27 to 29 in Varadero. In addition, the parties agreed on the mutual exchange of master classes and lectures.
MSLU actively cooperates with Cuba in the academic and scientific fields, participating in various conferences, takes part in the Forum of Rectors of Russian and Ibero-American Universities, the International Congress of Higher Education, holds regular meetings with representatives of the Embassies of Latin America and ministries of higher education. On the basis of the university there is a Center for Ibero-American Programs, as well as the Center for Linguistic and Cultural Studies of Latin America and the Caribbean.
